Peru Herp List
January 2014
This was my second trip to the Loreto region of Peru in two years. Both trips were under the auspices of MT Amazon Expeditions. I'm only including species that I personally saw while they were still wild or within a few moments of capture, so my list is much shorter than the overall group list. Many of the identifications are tentative, as noted in the text on the species pages. If you think any of my identifications are wrong, please let me know by sending mail to
john@wildherps.com.
You can compare this with my list from last year's trip to the same area.
