Taruga longinasus
—
Sharp-snout Saddled Treefrog
We had already seen the other two Taruga species (T. eques and T. fastigo) when we were in the range of this one. My guide Udaya Chanaka worked hard to find this third and final species (at least until more are discovered or split out of T. eques). T. longinasus is even a little bit longer and flatter and pointier than the others, so one could make a strong argument that it is the best Taruga of them all.
