King Salmon

After our time in Homer, we drove back to Anchorage and flew to a small village (officially a 'census-designated place') called King Salmon. We stayed the night, then early in the morning took this water taxi across the large Naknek Lake to our bearish destination in Katmai National Park. Fortunately for us the weather was calm, because if it is too windy the water taxi doesn't run, and it is often too windy.
