Striped Brook Snake
This was a good find, a widespread but relatively rarely seen species. The Authority says "The activity pattern is still uncertain, specimens were found during the day in refuges or captured at dawn and dusk." This one was patrolling the edges of a small rice paddy adjacent to the reserve a couple of hours after nightfall.
