Plethodon grobmani
—
Southeastern Slimy Salamander
This is the first salamander I've ever encountered in numerous trips to Florida. It was uncovered by Dr. Terry Farrell under a log that was partly submerged in a small stream.
This was split off from the species Plethodon glutinosus recently, and most books still include it in that species.
