Madagascarophis meridionalis
—
Karimbola Cat Snake
When I saw this snake, I assumed that it was yet another of the default snake that we had been seeing so often in Madagascar, Madagascarophis colubrinus. But no! It was instead the oh-so-slightly different sister species, Madagascarophis meridionalis. There was much rejoicing.
Here is a list of all the reptiles and frogs I saw on this 2023 trip to Madagascar.
