Limnonectes blythii
—
Malayan Giant Frog
Also known as:
Blyth’s River Frog, Giant Asian River Frog, Giant Frog

I believe the gently curved ridge behind the tympanum (external eardrum) is enough to identify this large forest-floor frog as L. blythii rather than one of the similar related species such as L. malesianus.
My Travelogues and Trip Lists page includes a complete list of the herps I saw in the wild on this trip to Malaysia, as well as a travelogue of the trip.

Same thing here. This one was lurking on the sandy beach of a creek at night.
