Lygodactylus bivittis
—
Tiny Dwarf Gecko
Also known as:
Tiny Scaled Gecko

This species has teeny-tiny scales that make its skin almost velvety.
Here is a list of all the reptiles and frogs I saw on this 2023 trip to Madagascar.

It is distinctive enough that it was once considered to be worth classifying into its own separate genus, Microscalabotes, before fancier DNA studies concluded that it was a Lygodactylus after all.
