Heterixalus betsileo

Betsileo Reed Frog
Heterixalus betsileo is widespread in Madagascar, and its appearance varies from location to location. The ones in this area are typically beige, though this one has some interesting silvery color also, and a faint line formed with yellow dots from the tip of the snout to the eye, over the eyelid, and along the side of the body.

I think these are all H. betsileo, though they all look somewhat different. I believe the only other Heterixalus species in the area is the very obvious Heterixalus alboguttatus.
These frogs are generally brownish or yellowish at night when they're active, but shiny green when they're resting during the day, at least at this location.
