José and Frank found and wrangled this interesting skink while they were looking for a particularly beautiful but sadly out-of-season frog. We couldn't find any possible match in The Authority, so Rainer Dolch sent a photo to Dr. Mark Scherz, who suspected that it is probably an undescribed species of Flexiseps, a genus that wasn't previously known to be present in this area.
