King’s Skink
These are large, heavy-bodied, black skinks, common on Rottnest Island and some coastal areas. We saw about a dozen of them in the one day we spent on Rottnest Island. They are also very nervous and quick-moving, and every single one disappeared quickly, so I didn't get any pictures at all.
