Silvascincus murrayi
—
Blue-speckled Forest Skink
Also known as:
Murray’s Skink
This species has been bouncing from genus to genus recently. It has been placed in Sphenomorphus, Eulamprus, Silvascincus, Concinnia, and Karma.
This is a very attractive skink that reaches the northernmost tip of its small range in Lamington National Park. It was the last of the 16 species of skinks I ran across in my three-week trip to Australia.
Here is a complete list of the reptiles and frogs I saw on this trip to Australia.
