Eutropis lankae
—
no known English name
These fairly generic skinks were reasonably common in the home garden of the ecolodge in which we stayed on the outskirts of the Knuckles mountain range. Like many standard skinks, they tended towards the skittish, coming out into the open to bask for only a few moments before scuttling away. This is a youngster.
Thanks to Kieran Richardson for identifying this skink on iNaturalist.
