Almaden Ground Snake
As we enjoyed our final breakfast of this Jaguar-focused trip to the Brazilian Pantanal, a small crowd gathered on a pathway just outside the dining room. They were interested in something small on the ground, and I generally like small living things on the ground, so I abandoned my meal to get a closer look. It was a teeny-tiny baby snake, hurrah!
