Dendropsophus bifurcus
—
Bifurcated Treefrog
Also known as:
Upper Amazon Tree Frog
Dendropsophus are generally easy to recognize by their size and relative proportions, but they vary quite a bit in coloration and pattern, sometimes even within a species. This particular arrangement of pattern and color is distinctive for Dendropsophus bifurcus, fortunately for me.
Some Dendropsophus bifurcus have reduced yellow stripes, which make them harder to identify. This is another standard-looking one.
