Ctenotus taeniolatus
—
Copper-tailed Skink

Australia has over a hundred Ctenotus species, but youngsters of this species are easy to identify due to their brightly colored tails. I noticed this particular individual hunting little bugs just twenty feet or so from a colony of Cunningham's Skinks that I was trying to photograph.
