Two-toned Soft-nosed Chameleon
This was probably the best type of chameleon that we saw on this trip. Despite its distinctive coloration, it was only described in 2018 and is only known from a small area of forest. Fortunately our local guide Aristide knew where they were and looked very hard for them on our behalf.
The first one above is an adult male, nearly finished shedding its skin. The second one is an adult female, which has very different coloration from the male. The third one is a tiny baby, already showing the colors that identify it as a male.
