Angozongahy Nosed Chameleon (Calumma emelinae)
Here's one of the relatively few Calumma chameleons that we saw during the day. The relatively small silly nose bump on this one identifies it as a female. This was identified as C. emelinae after the split from C. nasutum by chameleon expert Chris Anderson.

That night we saw a male, with its somewhat more protuberant proboscis. This was identified as C. emelinae by chameleon expert Chris Anderson.

One of the features that distinguishes this species from the other Calumma nasutum-group species is the green cheek patch.
