Boana raniceps

Chaco Treefrog
A pair of these large treefrogs spent their days nestled in nooks and crannies outside our room at Uakari Lodge, and their nights squawking their throats out a few feet from my bed.
Here is an account of the four days we spent at Uakari Floating Lodge in the Mamirauá Sustainable Development Reserve.
Unlike the first frog I photographed in the Pantanal, these treefrogs look like treefrogs.
