Boophis goudotii — Goudot’s Bright-eyed Frog

Goudot’s Bright-eyed Frog (Boophis goudotii)
We found this large treefrog with flashlights at night in the foliage at the side of the road that runs past Analamazaotra Reserve. It was perched about four feet up, apparently surveying its territory below.

These were massive treefrogs, which we found near water. I believe they are the largest of the 80+ species of Boophis.
