Boiga ranawanei
—
Ranawana’s Cat Snake
This snake would formerly have been considered to be Boiga beddomei, but that species has now been restricted to India.
This was one of those long, slender arboreal snakes that wanted to do nothing but climb, climb, climb. I was lucky to get this one mediocre photo in the few seconds before it slithered off to find somewhere to climb.
