Batrachoseps altasierrae — Greenhorn Mountains Slender Salamander
This species was split from Batrachoseps relictus by Jockusch et al in 2012.
This is one of the slender salamander species that can in general only be distinguished from its cousins by molecular analysis. Fortunately for me, this is the only slender salamander species recorded from this specific area, so even without molecular analysis I can be fairly confident that these are identified correctly.
