Anolis stratulus
—
Puerto Rican Spotted Anole
Also known as:
Puerto Rican Barred Anole, Saddled Anole
Anolis stratulus is a trunk-crown anole, though they are not green like many anoles in that ecomorph. I saw two or three of them high up on the trunks of the trees lining the road up to the observatory visitor center. They were quite wary, and I only managed to get this one halfway decent photo.
